CALLING ALL RUN BUDDIES! – GOTR is in need of Run Buddies that are able to run, hop, skip, jump and basically guide and accompany a 3rd – 8th grade Girl on the Run through the 5K run course.  Girls come in all levels of running ability and her Run Buddy should keep pace (fast or slow) and encourage her through the finish line.  All Run Buddy volunteers must complete and pass a background check as part of the volunteer registration.  All background check fees are covered by Girls on the Run of Tucson.  There is no fee to register & you must be at least 18 years old. Each approved Run Buddy will get a #2 bib on event morning, a color coordinated bandanna to match the GOTR tee (burgundy), 5k finisher medal and free post run food. Spaces are limited to register now click  here.

CALLING ALL 5K VOLUNTEERS! – As girls from across our area come together to achieve their goals on 5K day, they will be depending on volunteers like you to help them shine!!  ALL volunteer 5k categories are now open from Setup, to Run Buddies, to handing out 5k medals at the finish line.  If you have never volunteered for a GOTR 5k, be prepared to have fun and be in awe of what over 300 3rd – 8th grade girls and their coaches have accomplished during their 10 weeks of training.
